The quality is just FAB!!! It could be a tourism video for Vancouver.

Please know that we have a new video section in the forum, so I'm moving this post thre.

Can we ask what software was used to produce this?

I'd also be curious how many hours of work this video took. 10 hours? 20 hours?

Thanks Marco! I didn't notice the video section so thanks for moving it.

We start with shooting raw for each scene. A scene typically takes about 15 minutes to shoot the 300 frames to make a 10 second clip. When shooting with a D800 that can add up very fast for storage. Next we take the photos into Lightroom. It's a nice program as we can do universal changes to all the images for that scene. After that it gets into my brothers realm. He uses Affects and Premiere. We probably spent a few hundred hours processing images, rendering video clips and editing this movie. We probably only used one third of the scenes we shot. As far as shooting, we started shooting about 6 months ago. A scene here and there but a lot of it was shot on our two weeks holidays. That was a crazy 16 hour a day marathon for two weeks. I was happy to get back to my 60 hours a week for my day job. So yes, it takes a lot of time and effort to put these videos together. Kind of crazy when you add it all up. Thanks for the question!
