    I wonder if the hues that people are seeing here aren't due to monitor calibration, or lack thereof? I notice this image having quite a different caste depending on which computer I use. One thing I'd really recommend that you get as soon as you can HM, is a monitor calibration tool, such as the Spyder series.

    Prices run from $75 - $300 depending on the model and software package; generally for home/consumer use the most basic model will do fine. You will be amazed at the difference you see in your images when they're done on a calibrated monitor.
