    Default Goanna Bum

    As we were walking through the rain-forest last weekend a decent sized Goanna crossed the path ahead of us. He was about 1 1/2 meters in length at a guess and immediately started climb the tree. I had my wide angle lens on so I could get a close shot of him and he kept hiding his head so this is what I got

    Actually, one could surmise you were after some "tail" in this image ... great shot, nevertheless, you live in a great place with wonderful opportunities for photography.

    Nice capture. Shame he didn't smile for the camera but I'm not surprised. My cousins are not the outgoing type
