my dog thinks i'm an idiot when I do macros and landscapes.....she can't understand why I'm not running around full speed in these open areas... my delayed shots like these are littered with her images at various points of the scene...

it makes the work... lets say... a little more of a challenge...

if people saw me in the woods they would most likely mistake me for an ape as I am often jumping around like a fool to chase her out of my scene...

there have been tons of times when I am macro hunting and I find a nice subject like a butterfly perched on a flower.... I'll extend my monopod and begin to focus.... the dog will come out of nowhere full speed running right into the foliage and not only does the butterfly jet.... any other creature within 100meters jets too....

i usually take my 2 dogs with me on photo hunts as well, and can agree on how they make the work a 'challenge'...

    Very Cool.

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.
