This guy was just sitting on a fencepost just watching voles in the field. We just sat and watched him for about 15 minutes from the car and he was not the least bit disturbed by our presence. Looked at us a couple of times then went back to hunting.
I got to see him take off as well and got a shot of him, but I had to have the ISo at 3200 to get the distance of 300mm so there is a lot of noise. I converted it to BW to compensate.
My bird shooting skills suck but nonetheless it was really a beautiful creature to just watch. Glad I got a couple of semi decent shots to remember it anyhow.
