    Default Ziglet

It's a sad day in our home as our 17ish year old cat Ziglet went to the Rainbow Bridge (Heaven) last night.

I always liked this funnish picture of him where we dressed him up in drag so I thought I'd share it now. Please excuse the very low res.
    Thx - Marko

OMG I'm so sad for you. It's the hardest thing to lose them. I found mine today when I got home and I think he's had a stroke. He doesn't respond to sounds and I think he's blind. he won't purr. His pupils are almost non-reactive. it's like someone scooped out his brain. he's 18 and I think going to join Ziglet on the bridge soon. I am dying inside.

it's hard when they go but they bring such joy it's worth every bit of it. Ziglet was a beautiful cat and I LOVE the costume. Take care Marko

    Thanks for the support everyone.
I'm so sorry you are going through this as well WD, your cat definitely needs to see a vet asap though. Good luck.

Thanks M. Doesn't this suck? I mean, yeah, they're cats not people, but damn. At this point I don't know what a vet could do for Chuck. he's not in distress or pain. It's just that his personality is gone and he barely reacts to outside stimuli. Like he's already dead, but the body lives on, you know? he did purr last night though so maybe, just maybe, he recognized me for a bit. So hard. At least he's peaceful which is all I can hope for. I keep checking on him every 10 minutes.

So sorry for your loss, Marko. The photo is a very cute one! Like Michael said, a new kitten when you are ready...

Wicked, sorry to hear about your guy as well. It is true our pets are not people but they each have their own unique personality and give us much joy.
