    Default Sockeye Salmon

I shot a bunch of photos of the Sockeye Salmon run at Adams River, BC. It was a cloudy day along with a polarizer filter made for either high ISO or slow shutter speeds. I decided to purposely shoot hand held at very slow speeds. Here are three examples of the photos. I used the Orten effect in post. I learned that from a podcast here. I usually shoot black and white but when I go colour, I go colour.

Absolutely in love with that second shot Dan. They are all great but the second one with the water is just super special.

Have to agree with Casil on this one. #2 really shows the struggles, and the power of these fish on their fantastic journey.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
