    Default Porcupines in the Trees

Three porcupines in the park, attracting barking dogs, but way up high so they were safe and hard to see clearly. Two of them didn't budge and were well hidden unless you looked carefully, but one was watching the goings on down below. There was lots of conversation on the pathway about them. Mike

They look all cuddly and soft! Nice captures, Mike.

Very cool captures. Looks like it is just waking up in the first, and the second one looks like he is giving you a raspberry, (), for doing so.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks, JAS, HBG and Asnow. Cuddly from a distance. Some of my other pictures have an orange/red tongue like thing where the mouth should be. Is that the tongue or mouth or...? Mike

Cool photos! The only place I'm used to seeing these critters is along the side of the road :( They look pretty cute here. Looks like he's sticking his tongue out at you in the second one.
