    Found this one while going through my folders. It is from my Sony F717. Caught this while out in my garden.

    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Not very often someone would get to come across something like that. Did you hang around long enough to see if the snake actually got that whole thing down? Oh, nice clear photo too for one that looks like you took it in a not so well lit location.

    Thanks again Andrew. Yes she got the whole thing down, but I watched from a distance so as she would eat it.
    As for the lighting, it was atrocious to say the least, but this little camera never ceases to amaze me. Even though it is approx. 8 yrs. old, it still takes amazing pics, and I have yet to find a point and shoot its equal. It also takes real infrared pics in total darkness, or can focus and shoot, in colour, in total darkness also. Awesome for caving.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    oh man. this brings me back to when I was a kid playing hide & seek which ran to many yards in the neighborhood. I ducked into a huge forsythia and found a similar scene. I was reviled and fascinated at the same time.

    WD, yes it was something to watch. We have quite a population of snakes around our property and I love having them.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
