The colour is very nice and it's a fine shot of one of our feathered friends. I am not familiar with this type of kingfisher be he looks cool.

I've never seen a Kingfisher of this colouring either. Nice surrounding you caught him in too.

Thank you Iggy, Marko and MA. It's Pied Kingfisher and is found in Africa and Asia.

Very nice capture of a very colourful species Yisehaq. Are they as shy and hard to get close to as ours are?

Thanks HBG. Yes, they are shy but they are many around here. There is a good chance one can shoot them with a Canon.
