    Default Happy feet?

Now, I can make it down the driveway barefoot to retrieve the mail if there isn't any ice of the concrete, but that's about it. This goose, on the other hand, didn't seem bothered by the conditions. I liked texture of the skin as much as anything else.

Cool! (that's such a bad pun/joke this time of year ) Seriously, though, I'm not that familiar with goose feet and this is an interesting capture. They look lizardy in appearance.

Thanks, Iggy and Marko. (bad pun, Iggy, go out and take some proper ice pictures as a penance) Yeah, I kinda like the lizard skin look, and the way there's a little bit of a drape on the front foot. It's kinda funny when geese (and ducks) walk on a hard surface. Not only do you hear the slap of the foot, but you can hear the nails clicking.
