Default Bison- Brown Ones, (not white)

Just a few shots around the farm.

Here we have Billy-Bob weighing in at a lean & mean 2400+ lbs......

...and, the little lady, Daisy-Mae, weighing in at a measly 1200 lbs.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Very interesting! Daisy looks so delicate, tiny thing that she is.

It must have been quite the fearful sight to a herd of these stampeding across the prairies in days of yore. And just peaceful to see them dot the prairie as they roamed the plain.

Billy Bob looks like he's wondering what the heck is going on in that first picture. Interesting to see the difference in color and texture between the two of them.

Wow they are both beauties...they have a bit of a gentleness about them somehow. Is Billy bob the alpha male?

My husband actually took these as he was only 10 ft. away in the one pic I actually have a pic. of him out in field rubbing noses with Daisy, and believe me they are both far from tame. He also has a pic. he took of Bill-Bob charging him just before he himself dove through the fence..
We only have the two now, but Daisy is in calf right now, due in June. We raise them for meat actually, but these two are more "the pets".
We are actually cutting and wrapping this Saturday.
