    Nice colour, but why do they always go deep into the branches! Damn birds!!

    Love the blue colour. Yea, they do seem to have that habit of hiding behind branches.

    Cool capture, Mike. There are nest boxes (or once were, I have not been out there for awhile) on the road that goes out the Polo Club and Strathcona Tweedsmuir School (highway 552, also the De Winton turnoff) where you can see these sweet little guys flitting about in the summer. It must be tough for them in Calgary right now as they mostly live off low flying insects. :(
