Very cool because last night I was reading a Darwin Awards book and the very last story I read was about a soldier who was visiting Wainwright (near Calgary?) who decided to cross a Bison filled pasture at night to get to a military base I think. Well ... lots of screaming and running was had, the soldier leapt the fencing just as a huge bison bull slammed into the fence. Apparently the dent in the steel railing fence is still there.

Lovely shots. Are those flies hanging around or bugs caught in a spiders web?

Thanks for the comments everyone. Just one baby, we only have a bull and a cow and she has an offspring every other year. Yes, this animals are can be very aggressive, the cow is very protective of the calf. I can get about 20 ft. to it, if I were to go closer she would charge me. The bugs are blackflies, they just started a couple days ago......pesky things.
