I like the patterning on the underbelly and the stare! Nicely caught!
I have to say though that when this first came up on screen I immediately thought " nice pic of a real ugly bird".

Thanks AB. The male of this species is a satin black with a sheen and the same purple eye. Quick nice. The female is a bit drab although looks better in person.Originally Posted by aubintbay
