    Default well Fed

On my way home from shooting the macros I spyed a swallow nest in the cement blocks supporting the sidney water front walk.

(there are acually 5 babys in total)

the lighting was horrible for these as it was overcast, but im hoping to reshoot this in morning when the sun is directed at them and maybe ill get some nice colors from the parent birds

Nice set, and definitely worth a trip back in better light to get the iridescent colours on the adults in the sun.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Nice work, Jude! What good little babies they are to stay in a nest that seems somewhat precarious.

Nice find. I hope you get the sun soon. They won't be there long.

Cool series of shots. Just wondering if the overcast lighting might be the better light. If It is was sunny maybe there would be too much contrast. Mind you HBG said "...better light to get the iridescent colours on the adults in the sun" She would know.
