    Default Bushtits

These are one of my favorite birds, they are very tiny, fast and elusive. Ive been trying to get clear pics for months.

    females have light colored eyes

and males and juveniles have dark eyes

they make a nest that looks like a old sock and it hangs down from a tree branch all covered in moss and lichen...I have a pic of one somewhere will post later if i can find it.

Nice sharp shots jude, I never realized that they had eyes like that, they remind me of mini owl eye's.

Excellent detailed habitat captures of these Jude, especially of a subject so tiny, and always on the move. Very well done.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Very nice set, Jude. Love the light on #2, my favorite shot of the set. What a curious little bird ... does this bird belong to the family of wrens?

Actually, related to Paridae family Matt, which is Chickadees, which in turn is related to Wrens. Good call Matt.
