This picture is for the birds...

This is a discussion on This picture is for the birds... within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; Remarkable not for it's technical or artistic attributes (there aren't any), but for the fact that it was taken today ...

Default This picture is for the birds...

Remarkable not for it's technical or artistic attributes (there aren't any), but for the fact that it was taken today in my garden!

I think it is a great shot, I can only wish to be able to take a shot like this with my camera, but I can't my cam is just to slow to get the right focus in time, unless the bird would stay in the air long enough. I love this shot.
Please feel free to browse through my photography albums on my web site at www.aophoto.vze.com maybe you will like some of them.

Great capture. I've been trying for months to get a good picture of one of these guys, and no luck. One of these days...

It looks like this pair is going to winter over, so I'll have lots more chances to reshoot; I'm going to try again when there's some better light, and yes, the black background isn't a bad idea at all!
