    Default My Little Pest Control

I don't know little birds well so not sure what this one is, I do know that they are all over a tree I have in the yard that for some reason this time of year gets covered in these tiny aggravating little bugs that hover in the yard. These guys tear them up though.

Awww... such a sweet looking little guy and nice sharp shot too!

According to What Bird.com it is a yellow throated vireo possibly a yellow bellied fly catcher. They even have an app for your iPhone.

But if that is not right, HBGirl probably would be able to identify it for you.

Thanks. It could be one of those. I know robins are about twice the size of these little guys.

I don't know what he is but he's a cute little feller... robin's are generally red I think. If you want to spend some time searching you can try: WhatBird | identify birds | bird identification guide | north america

Thanks guys. They are very well fed. Those little bugs are a couple of inches thick going up the tree so it's like a Sunday buffet on steroids.

Very nice capture of what is definitely, 100%, a Magnolia Warbler. Looks like this Springs hatch as it still has a little of the grey breast banding as an immature.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks HBG. I would have never guess that. So when they are older they get the black markings I suppose. Looks like I have a bunch of kids in my yard then, they all look the same.
