Default And Yet More Lousy Light Shots

These were out of a moving 16 ft. aluminum boat. Again shooting into the light. We tried circling around them to get light in our favour but they would dive and pop up on opposite side of boat.
    Two, I managed to salvage.

I tried to hold the boat steady, since my camera was in use anyways!

    Don't rock the boat Kev

Are these a type of Grebe? Very nice shots by the way.

Thanks MA, and yes they are Common Loons.
If it wasn't for Kev and his nautical skills we could not have gotten these pics. Quite the ships Captain he is.

Beautiful photos! I love loons, their calls are so eerie; I love it.

Loons are so hard to photograph, I can never get good photos. I find it hard to get their eyes in focus. Great work.

I quite like the tonality in this "bad light".

I really like these shots. You have used the bright reflections behind them to isolate them in the frame which is a bit of creative genius IMHO. Nice work
