What a really nice set, Jude. I really love number 2 and the colour of the red bug on the leaf. Nicely done.

Nice series. To get that close to the lizards without them running off you must have been wearing your camouflage jacket. I like #2 here and most of the birds you posted earlier. What gear did you drag along on your trip and did you have any problems?

Hey Andrew, I brought almost all my gear with me, which doesn't amount to much! I use a Canon XS ( I hate this camera) my kit 18-55 mm lens and my EFS 55-250 mm f/4-5.6 IS lens. I also brought a travel tripod, but never used it. I had no problems at the airport, they just scanned my camera bag and sent me on my way.

I need new gear so bad, I outgrew this camera a long time ago. I think my image quality is so poor, its hard to remain motivated to keep shooting

I'm going to be thrilled to see your images when you get an upgrade if you think your image quality is poor now. You have some stunning shots. I hear you about outgrowing the camera though. My XSi is feeling long in the tooth but I'll have to stick it out a while longer.
