    Awww, that's an awfully bad name for a cute little dachshund. It's a really nice little pooch portrait. If it were my image I would have worked a little harder to enhance the catch lights in his eyes and I might have framed a little differently to either include or exclude his back end as where it is cut off now doesn't look like it was done on purpose.

    Excellent composition-wise. I'd like to have seen a stronger catch light in his eyes and maybe a smidge more contrast but this is much better (for me).

    I like the exposure. I would try a shallower DOF and prefer the crop of the second image. Overall though a nice capture.

    Lovely little pooch

    Critique though ... doesn't look sharp enough, looks more like a miss than a crop on the backend. I'd crop way more body off. Dodge those eyes up to get them singing more, and the nose too. Like this ...
