    Default Vancouver Birds

    Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park seemed to be a bird paradise. I caught these shots there and it took me a while to ID some of the birds. Close ups are shot with 70-200 lens with circular polarizer.

    1. Rufous-sided Towhee


    2. Golden crowned sparrow


    3. Lincoln's sparrow


    4. Wood Duck


    5. American Coot


    6. Pigeons (aka Rock Doves)

    Nice set Mike. That second one is a beauty!! Depth of field is really working on this one.

    They all grab me! Great stuff. Never seen a sparrow looking so good either ... didn't know they came in a golden crowned variety.
