    Default Deep Woods Off works on smaller stuff, but bearly on him ...

    While taking a mini holiday in Waterton Park I ventured out in the late afternoon to take some images of the incredibly abundant wildflowers. All I remember is my wife starting to scream .... oh, and please note: I was the one wearing the insect repellant; but as it turns out, he needed it more ... this, by the way, was NOT taken with a wide angle lens ....

    congratulations on holding the camera steady enough under the circumstances! Great shot...almost looks like he is smiling for the camera!

    I hope you lent him some of your repellant, sure looks like he needs it. You almost look like you were close enough to hand it to him.

    Awesome capture Matt, and quite funny re the wife.
    Looks like a good size one by the distance between the ears. So how close in reality, as you said you were not using wide angle, so I take it, long reach telephoto???
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    twas the 300mm with a 1.7 tele extender ... I was about 50 yards away ....
