I mean, I stood in triple digit temps long enough to become soaked while troop after troop of schoolchildren moseyed through bumping the tripod and just otherwise making me nervous. It usually takes a while for one to step into the right light with the right background and no other bird in the frame.This particular day, I had to stand amongst these freaks of nature a little longer to get a shot. Freaks, you may ask? Damn right. The only thing else on the face of this earth that smells worse than flamingos is more flamingos.

So, please indulge just one more.

Nicely done, Barefoot... the other, if you don't mind me saying, is a far superior shot but I like this one too!

Very nice image... And you are right flamingos smell worse than a chicken coop any day.
