    Thanks everyone. I've always wanted to get an owl shot but never saw one so this for me was a total thrill. Also it gave me some idea of just how capable the Sigma 150-500mm lens could be especially on a cropped sensor where it's actually 750mm. He/she has menacing eyes for sure It was raining this day so I shot it from inside the car.

    Great shot Michael. I like the background and texture of the old weathered wood.

    I appreciate the rustic-ness of this shot. I also like the way the colour in the eyes pops in contrast with the muted colours of the weathered structure.
