By the waters edge

This is a discussion on By the waters edge within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; taken along Hwy 41 on the return trip from CFB Petawawa, took this with my Nikon F5 and Kodak Ektar ...

    taken along Hwy 41 on the return trip from CFB Petawawa, took this with my Nikon F5 and Kodak Ektar film using a Nikkor 70-300 lens, colour negative was scanned on a CanoScan 9000F

    Nice!!! I like how the light falls on the water and deer. You must have had your camera ready as you're driving... not easy to drive, see, stop, shoot.... next time I am out there I will have to remember to keep the camera on the seat next to me, ready, and not in the bag, in the back!

    very nice scene captured in some beautiful light Ed. Just "one of those moments" that we all wish to see/capture some day. Very well done, and thanks for sharing.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Thanks Isa Luna and yes I had both my D5000 and my F5 on the passengers seat.
