    Cool Afternoon in the Park

With a loaner 60mm Canon lens mounted on my Rebel, I decided that nothing could be better than a walk in the park on a Sunday afternoon. I also decided that sitting still by one of the flower beds was a good idea, something might eventually happen right where I was. Here is what I saw, with some post-processing as the day was bright and, since this was a loaner, I didn'T have a polarizer for the lens :

Nice set. I am thinking it may be hard for you to give this lens back.

What a lovely set. I wonder now if you'll have to go buy one of those lenses? That's the problem with borrowing something!

Thanks!! I had a lot of fun with this lens and totally forgot other issues and problems while I was shooting. I may just have trouble giving it back ! But, before buying one, I also want to try the 100mm macro. I thought of it after - hey, what if that bee decides it likes me, I was a little closer to it than I normally would have liked to be, but I just got excited at having in my shot when it showed up.

There are a few other shots if you follow the link to flickr, btw.

Very nice set ISA. It looks like you had a very nice and fun walk in the park.

Very nice set Isa. Can't really pic a favourite, as all are very well done., and yes, if you are very interested in macro you will def. want to check out the 100mm macro. I have the L version, and it is an amazing piece of glass.

A lovely series for sure. I like the action you've caught in shot 3.
