    Default The Regent Bowerbird

    I love these guys. So bright and defined. We get these in the rainforests behind the Gold Coast from around now until late Jan ... then they are gone. The brown coloured bird in these shots is the female.

    More awesome shots of the avian life from your part of the world. Love the First male shot, and the female in-flights.

    Amazing how much she resembles our Yellow-shafted Flickers.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
