This is a discussion on couple of fun bird shots within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; "I don't know what it is but I'm having it for lunch!" He had to work hard at it but ...

    "I don't know what it is but I'm having it for lunch!" He had to work hard at it but he finally swallowed it whole

    I hear you on the plight of the Starfish but the seagull seemed very proud of his catch and looked like he was standing just that much taller with the pride of his achievement, he literally strutted it up and down the wharf a few times before he ate it.

    Thanks Travis...Waxwings are not much for stayng in one spot for too long, I rate them up there with dragonflies.

    Nice shots. Interesting subjects. The "Don King" look is quite funny (I always seem to come into these threads late!)

    I tried a few bird shots today myself without much success... they were hiding in the trees and flitting about too fast for me to catch them so my hat is off to you when you can capture them with great photos like these.
