    Default Silent Death (Snowy Owl)

A few shots of a Snowy going in for the kill.
Probably never get a chance like this again as they have moved on from this location, headed north. We were in "Corn Country" in the Woodstock area where these were taken

    Locked on target.

    The snatch.

    The grab.

Sorry, you need to re-shoot #2, he blinked!!!

Great shots, I like #1 the best because you see the mouse.

    Wow, stunning. Absolutely stunning sequence.

    .....

But honestly, how many mice did you have to throw on the snow before you got the shot?

Another fan of shot 1. You can see the whole story. Is it just me, or is the expression in shot 3, "yeah, totally nailed it"?

Thanks all, and def a lot of years to finally get this chance. Have seen a lot of Snowies but have never had a shot sequence such as this present itself before.
