    Default I think he took a wrong turn

    On my final photo walk in Sidney (I've moved) I found a surprise in the water. At first I assumed it was a river Otter, but realized it was to furry. To my surprise it was a beaver!!! swimming in the ocean and in bright sunlight! Not sure what was going on with him, maybe he got lost during the night.

    You sure that is a beaver, the tail looks long and not flat. better hope it is not a nutria. We have a major problem with those down here.

    Its a beaver! I think its just the angle that makes the tail look thin, but it was very broad!!!I have a pic of just the tail I can post later. But I never hear of a Natria before.....cute little guys! I don't think we have them in Canada.

    Amazing sharp detail on these Beaver captures Jude. Love those cleaning pics especially, and hoping it finds a nice freshwater pond close by.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
