As for the crop, the top works for me, but I would have cropped the right side off, as the frog is looking into the frame on left.

Thanks HBG. That was the one thing I didn't feel comfortable about with the left side crop .... frog is looking out of the frame. Here is your suggestion of cropping on the right.
