    Default Bird at work...

We named her Priscilla... a red-breasted Nuthatch, is very curious and not very afraid of people...She has a little wooden house against a tree and was not afraid of me or the camera. I'm going to take lots of shots of her this year I think....

Very nice indeed - maybe she'll introduce sometimes her offspring!

I tried enticing her to my hand with a 1/2 a peanut chopped into tiny bits...I got her to sit on a branch about 6 inches from my hand but she wouldn't quite go there....we did have a good conversation tho...she would peep and I would peep back...we peeped at each other for about 2 minutes...I then put the peanut bits on her nesting box and she ate it up right away!

And if she's allergic to peanuts you'll be able to get some really good shots before she decays
