    Default Eagle

After work today I stopped off at the lake for an hour or so. Sitting in the evening shade on the lakefront I notice a couple of kayaks about two hundred yards north of me are pulled in close to the shoreline and the occupants are flailing around with point and shoots aiming them into the woods. I could see nothing but I knew they weren't taking pictures of fir trees. I ran back to the main trail and headed north. A few minutes later I arrived at the spot in question to find this big fella! An Eagle I'm sure, Golden perhaps?

Very nice Michaelaw! Tack sharp as always. Did you use a teleconverter or your 300mm on its own?
    cheers

Thanks EJC. This was the 300mm on its own as I don't yet own a converter. I was balanced on a log over the lake doing the "weebles wobble but they don't fall down" act so I was really happy with the sharpness
