    There seems to be plenty of Swainsons Hawks around Calgary this year. This one is taking off from a power pole

    Great shot EJC...I've noticed that too although there seem to be less now as I think they've started migrating...I haven't seen one for a few days and I was at Fish Creek yesterday.
