    Default Beautiful Mink Coat

I followed this little guy and its mate down the banks of Fish Creek yesterday for quite a while. They aren't the least bit camera shy. It stopped in a pool of light reflected from the river for this shot. All the great stars know where the best light is...

OMG...lucky you!! I saw him on Thursday running right down in the same spot but couldn't get a shot away in time before he darted into the bushes!

    Great capture EJC!

Casil, I lost them from time to time but they always came back to the river and moving downstream. I just jogged down the path 50 meters and waited for them. They came within 5 meters of me when I was in full view so they aren't scared of people. My Mammals of Alberta book describes their movement "as moving link a brown silk ribbon" which is spot on.

    cheers
