    This guy showed up in my backyard with a few of his mates last week. I finally got a reasonable shot in


    This shot was so close to being fantastic. Just missed the tips of his wings. In any case its and interesting angle.


    I like the wing spread in this one.

    Just realised I stopped mid sentance in the original post. I had meant to say, I finally got a good shot that looks natural, rather than on a fence or on a roof.

    I very nearly ran over one of these on the Jinker today Antz. Leanne and I were almost at the carpark to start our ride and several of them were on the road which is unusual. I slowed slightly expecting the usual flurry of wings and it didn't come until I'd slammed on the anchors and slowed right up. Dumb ass parrots! I don't need a new hood ornament!
