    Just to reference the OP for a quick sec This well could be a female and even without color, I still think she looks hot!

    Woody's mate is a beautiful bird! Cute capture, Michaelaw.
    but not all male birds are more beautiful color-wise then the female. Take the eclectus as an example.

    Actually I think the green one is prettier myself ... and that's the male. But you have a point there Raiven ... it's a close call and many will side either way on that one me thinks
