Well now ... just in case you are being typical woman and jumping to the wrong conclusions ... lets clarify shall we?
What I mean is that human females intelligence levels have a very wide range (males do also of course) but in birds ... they are all appear to be much the same.

but not all male birds are more beautiful color-wise then the female. Take the eclectus as an example.
