    Default Let me in Baby!

Have had a funny little visitor the past couple of days. He's here as I type this right now. Seems our tinted office windows have him fooled that his own reflection is a female or maybe a rival male, I'm not sure ... he speaks too fast so I can't catch what he's saying

Forgive the crappy photos ... it was very dark, afternoon and wet, reflections as well.

He runs along the outside window sill, chirping and carrying on for awhile.

Sometimes he presses right up for a close look

Then he flaps around and finally flies up and down the window before starting the process all over again!

He's what we call a 'Willy Wagtail' and they have a beautiful song.

Great bird journalism there MA, At least it seems to be aware there's no flying through it. That can be a real hazard for birds. It's a cute little gaffer too
I love his little face in the second shot

He's a funny little guy alright. He hasn't flown into the window as such but has lightly 'attacked' it a few times.

We do get a few birds flying into the windows though. The last was just a few days ago but it was fine.

Haha - funny picutere story, Steve. Especially the second and the last shot are great. Did it get through the window with it's attack flight?

Very cute! Those white spots above his eyes make him look like a superhero.

Wow, that's hilarious Mad. I think your theory is probably correct. He sees a rival in his reflection! Or, he's looking for a job. Birds can be such funny creatures. Well done - jimmy
