Owls and Owlets

This is a discussion on Owls and Owlets within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; Those are terrific. I wonder how many opportunities like this I've walked right by. So glad you didn't....

    Thanks a bunch!
Funny, this morning on my way to school I went by there and one of the little owlet chicks was out of the den/nest and sitting way out on one of the branches staring at me. Now I think there might be 3 of them but I can't quite tell if 3 or 2.
LoL they seem to really like pigeons as there are lots of pigeon feathers in the area.
Unfortunately, still dark and no camera....they sure are cute though.

Very interesting pictures. Don't owls eat mice and gophers? And pigeons? Oh, that is what you meant. Exciting project. If you hang around them long enough, they might imprint on you (mistake you for their mother) and follow you home. LOL.
