O.k. - for the single wish of one ;-), some more horses. The black ones were my favourites!

It's a album with hundreds of photos from this beach race, that my whole fotocomunity shot this day :-). Or you write into the left corner above, where you see "In der Gallery suchen" my sign KerstinK - then say enter and you'll get my picture collection only there ;-).

    thanks MM!!

the black horse is truly lovely- warmblood, possibly a cross with a Thoroughbred. the second black one looks like a Fresian but not an expert so could be wrong there. it might also be a Percheron cross.

unfortunately the last one is not my favourite (although it's definitely a great action shot) because the rider has pulled the bit almost completely through the horse's mouth and you can see has caused a fair amount of pain (well I can see it, often others cannot)- hence the open mouth, flung up head and wide eyes.

The first picture is the best one- the rider is forward and soft with his hands, lovely seat and the horse is definitely moving forward in a very correct manner.

there, aren't you glad I posted? I am definitely checking out the rest.

Hey Bambi, I am glad you enjoyed this :-) - and you are right, the second black horse is a Fresian as you can see here better:

it looks like it was a really fun day. I would be torn between having my camera or having my horse there.
