    Default Front Yard Find

Just pulling out of laneway, saw one small hawk harrassing a larger one, so turned around back to house and got camera. Went back out, little hawk had disappeared, but larger one still sitting in tree.
Not the best, (little busy), but finally got a pic. of a Coopers.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Oh these are terrific. I have so much respect for those who can shoot birds and get them really sharp. I don't even notice the busyness... that bird is so majestic. I live near a huge nesting area for several species of woodpeckers and hope someday to spend time just shooting those fun birds. Wonderful shots HBGirl..

very nice captures - I always seem to see hawks on my way to work with no camera in sight.

Yeah, I wouldn't be ashamed of these for any reason. Great captures!

Very nice captures! I always seem to see these creatures when I don't have my camera. They are very elusive in the field. How are things in Woodstock? I was born and raised there for a short time but visited quite often to see my granny.

Thanks for the kind words Rinkdaddy.
Things in Woodstock are good here where I live,(little 50 acre farm back in the bush East of Woodstock), but in Woodstock it's nuts, with toyota and all the other factories/housing growing with it.It is not so much "The Friendly City" anymore. everyone in a hurry to own the road and such.
Small world, I was born and raised in Chippewa, just South of Niagara, and my closest Aunt lives in Fort Erie.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
