Sand bird

    A little google work seems ti indicate it may be a Sand Piper

    It's in that family, but with that black belly patch and cinnamon shade, my bird book says it's a dunlin.

    Beautiful shot, and perfect perch for the Dunlin.
    There are getting to be more and more of these staying around these parts, as compared to past years. Great capture.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
