    This gentleman was keeping an eye on the mate's progress in building their home. (see "Womans Housework" post) Guess he was doing what they do best. Watch women do all the work.
    Gotta say, he kept all the other intruders at bay though.





    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    It's remarkable how brave those little birds can be. Love the first shot especially.

    Yes, a male Baltimore Oriole.
    We actually saw at least 20 of these throughout the day. Just got in car and two males started fighting right in front of us. It was very brutal, and they both locked up right in front of us. Hubby pulled up right beside them and I walked right over to within inches of them and actually broke it up.
    They will sometimes actually fight to the death in these territorial disputes.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
