    Never seen irridescent fangs like that before. Great shots. What kind of spider is it?

    it's the rare freakus-bambi-outofhermindus. In this respect it's related to those Hunter spiders of Australia

    And they are Huntsmen Spiders ... and the scariest thing is ... they can damn near outrun a human!

    That one is a beauty and very well taken. Love the iridescent fangs too...must be to attract prey I'm thinking. Spiders don't bother me too much. My question is which ones are the eyes or do they have 4?

    Thanks all!

    It is a DARING JUMPING SPIDER (Phidippus audax) and has 8 eyes as each spider has.

    Glad I can't see the forums at work. My coworker in the next office would have destroyed the monitor and her shoe.
