Medalta Potteries - The Kiln

One more in the series. This time I experimented with adding some noise to the images. Have a hard time deciding if this works for the images. But then again, I still have the RAW, so I can play to my hearts content.

Here is one of the three kilns. The weather was quite uncooperative; if the Albertans remember: this was the weekend of the flood in Medicine Hat. Rain clouds, and dim light ..





Here is an image of one of the steel bands, which hold together the structure.

I quite like the second one. the treatment makes it look like an older photo.
