    Default Jurassic Lifts

I haven't shot anything in ages, so I'm going through some old slides and scanning them in.

I found these lumbering giants sleeping away on a winter afternoon in 2002. Shot on Kodak Ektachrome 100 with the Olympus OM-3, the 24mm lens and a polarizer. 1/125 sec and f5.6. Scanned with a Nikon Coolscan IV. Lightroom massage to bring it more or less into line with the positive. It's a little blue, but I didn't want to mess with it too much.

    I've always kinda liked it.

I think with all the snow that the blue needs to be there really. It sells the cold and a blue cast is usually true to life in these conditions isn't it?

That sky is really a beautiful blue. Shame about all the boomlifts in the way
