    I think I understand now. Due to the angle, DOF would have some of the wall and some of the chair in focus and other parts not in focus. You couldn't really separate the chair from the wall with DOF only. In this case, selective sharpening does the trick. Cool!

    I had some of those wheels at the end of my driveway in Ontario. Nice photo.

    Very nice shot and processing of "The worlds first Segway". Too bad it would only work going downhill.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
