    Default What I do....

We had a big VIP function at work last night for 220 people. I thought I would take the Pentax along and grab some shots of the day/night in progress.
It was a big day and we hit this one out of the park as the guests were pretty ecstatic with the food! Thought I would share some shots from the evening. Bon Appetit!

We spent a couple hours in the afternoon tying these veggie bundles...220 of them tied together with a leek ribbon.

This is the first course...Lobster tail with basil pesto and yellow pepper coulis...220 of these finished and ready for pick up:

And the dessert ...my specialty...chocolate softcake with chocolate -cinnamon whipped cream and cherries jubilee..I spent most of the week working on the components of this dessert...nice to see what I had in my head come together:

Oddly enough tomorrow I start my final 5 week school practicum in my new career as an occupation therapy assistant working at a rehab facility...soon this will be part of my past which is kind of bittersweet after looking at these photos.
